When the villagers learn the two Americans have already been captured, they revolt against their scheming leader. n 1943. on Christmas, in some Serbian village, Chetniks give shelter to two American pilots whose plane was shot down. Realizing that the Germans are looking for the pilots, Chetniks change their attitude towards them, disarm them and imprison, but they manage to escape. Planting the bodies of two other murdered prisoners to the Germans, who in the meantime have found the real pilots, Chetniks catch the rage of bitter people, in spite of attempts of their captain to cover up their misdoing on holiday.
